About Soné

I grew up on a farm in the Free State, where I learned about cooking, baking and meat from my parents and grandparents. As a young girl, I helped my mother cater for weddings, and I have never lost my love for a full table and the people gathered around it.

Life carried me elsewhere: into law, where I became an attorney, conveyancer and notary, and later into building a recruitment business, which I sold after years of hard work. Today I am a wife, a mother of four, and someone who finds it hard to sit still.

But one dream never left me: a pretty little shop of my own, filled with beautiful things, and the wish to make something under my own name and brand. Household Goods is where it all comes together. It is a place where quality, warmth and memory sit at the same table again, and everything here is made slowly, for a life well kept.
